We all have different coping mechanisms both from each other and towards the events that happen in life. Illness, of the chronic, long term and potentially horribly disabling type remains, thankfully, relatively rare. So, how do you think you would you react if you were diagnosed with such an illness? Ok, it may depend, to some degree, on how severely disrupted your life is immediately. Maybe, you would be more worried about the future? Worried about pain, money, relationships, sex … ummm, yes, a lot to worry about! You might feel depressed? Reclusive? Suicidal? Sad? Manic? Probably all of these things at some point, if my experience is anything to go by! But, I have to ask, would it occur to you to get your, or a loved ones, tits out? For money? Oh, OK, for charity? No, me neither! As I say, we all have different coping mechanisms … and isn’t the world so much the better for that? In the case of the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre, it’s also financially better off…by £000’s to date and hopefully more to come. Yes, by just one person getting their tits out in support of the cause. Fantastic, no? Both the idea and the tits! Go to www.vixpix.org with your hand in your pocket … give generously in support of a great cause. |
