I recently completed a short philosophy course with the KGG. KGG is a committed to faith person and over the few years that I have known her, we have had many conversations about the logic of choosing to believe in God (her) and not (me). She suggested we did an Oxford University online course on the Philosophy of Religion together as it might stimulate yet more debate between us. It was a ten week course, and, yay, I made it through to the end, despite my poor track record with such courses and before my next visit to the steroid drop-in shop. What did this course have that others didn't?
I can, in all honesty, say that I have never thought about God so much. I went to sleep thinking about God, I woke up thinking about God, I wrote about God... for a non-theist, bizarre! They do a ton of other courses; take a look yourself and expect to see me in the mix if you enrol. |
